New Study: Turmeric Compound Activates Regeneration of …

Posted: January 17, 2015 at 7:59 am

A new study published September 26, 2014 in the Stem Cell Research & Therapy journal suggests that a component of turmeric, aromatic (ar-) turmerone, induces and increases neural stem cell proliferation.

Turmeric has been found to have numerous health benefits with especially powerful anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective properties that can improve cognitive function and neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimers disease. A study published back in 2012 demonstrated three months of treatment, where Alzheimers patients were given a daily turmeric supplement, resulted in a significant decrease of severe behavioral and psychological symptoms, and in two instances, patients came to recognize their family within one year of treatment (Hishikawa 2012).

This new study may provide even more insight as to why turmeric is proving so effective in treating neurologic disorders:

- The targeted (that is, pharmacologic) activation of endogenous NSCs [neural stem cells] has been shown to enhance self-repair and recovery of function in the adult brain in both stroke [13,14] and neurodegeneration (Hucklenbroich et al., 2014).

At certain concentrations, ar-turmerone was shown to increase NSC [neural stem cells] proliferation by up to 80%, without having any impact on cell death (BioMed Central, 2014).

Ar-turmerones ability to regenerate the brains stem cells has important implications in the event of stroke, dementia and neurodegeneration. This study was performed on rats in vivo and in vitro, and researchers concluded ar-turmerone is a prime candidate for developing a future drug to induce regeneration in neurodegenerative disorders/diseases.

Yet another reason to add this superfood to your arsenal!

Botanical Ingredients for Clinical Results

As we age, the epidermal layer of the skin becomes thinner, rougher, drier and uneven, as skin cells turn over at a slower rate than in youth. Plant stem cells provide a natural solution for aging skin, as these cells are able to repair skin tissue and prolong the lifecycle of human skin cells. To create the Stem Cells Phyto-Elite Collection, Pevonia looked to two specific natural resources for skin rejuvenation and repair the Argan Tree and European Comfrey Root.

A Legacy of Beautiful Skin

The new Pevonia Stem Cells Phyto-Elite collection works from deep within the skin's layers, starting at the dermis, to deliver healthy, ageless looking skin. The collection includes:

All Pevonia products are made with natural and organic extracts, and are alcohol free, gluten free, paraben free, lanolin free, mineral oil free, PABA free, sodium lauryl sulfate free, non-GMO and Mother Earth Approved.

If it were me I would look into this place first because they are the only clinic that does Recirculatory Hemoprofusion, the most powerful and effective form of ozone application. In the comments section is a list of other Mexican clinics that do oxidative therapies. Another choice I might make is Oasis of Hope. They have done good work for many years. .Arrow

International Ozone News:

Grand Opening New IV Ozone Hospital Special Announcing the opening of a new ozone hospital. Specializing in treating cancer (and other things) integrating IV and other ozone with cutting edge stem cell technology a new ozone hospital has opened up over the border from Laredo in a nice part of Mexico. The doctor is a recognized top Mexican surgeon and is trusted and backed by the government there, and best of all he is a friend of Eds, and he has been getting excellent results using many ozone techniques under Eds advice. He is presently offering one of the most advanced set of medical therapies currently available. We know of no place else where one can get ozone and stem cell therapy. The best part: as the opening special so to speak, to get rolling and fill the beds, he reports asking only $10,000 each for treatment. He can do this because of the favorable exchange rate.

Every year I do predictions for the stem cell field for the coming year. You can see my full post on my predictions for this year here.

Stay tuned soon for my predictions for 2014.

Howd I do for 2013 with my predications?

Each prediction for this year that I made last year is bolded and my assessment now of how I did for each is in green or red.I did reasonably well for 2013. Sometimes predictions get mixed in with what hopes or thinks would be the best thing to happen not necessarily the most likely.

10. At least two new lawsuits are filed against stem cell businesses, most likely by patients.I think the number is more likely to be 3-4, but lets see what develops.

RIGHT. There was a lawsuit filed in Japan against a stem cell clinic and some stem cell companies sued each other. Admittedly, I thought wed see more patient-based lawsuits.

9.No human iPS cell clinical trials start in 2013.More likely to begin in 2014, which will be exciting. I think this is actually good news compared to moving too fast.

WRONG. Dr. Takahashis iPS cell-based study for macular degeneration began to enroll patients on Aug. 1.

8. Transdifferentiation makes a major advance.

U.S. lets Mexican woman in to help sick sister

Posted: November 15, 2014 at 10:56 am

A woman who needs a bone-marrow transplant says she is finally getting the help she needs after the U.S. government initially denied her the life-saving donor she knew she needed. Alicia Nino DePalma is a legal U.S. resident. She has leukemia and doctors said that a bone marrow transplant is the best way to regain her health quickly. Her best match was her sister, who lives in Mexico, but the family says the sister was denied a visa. However, things have changed. Channel 2s Amy Napier Viteri was at the airport Friday night as DePalmas sister arrived from Mexico. The family says after the visa was denied, they applied for humanitarian parole and got the green light. Viteri was there as twin brothers Gabriel and Ariel DePalma hugged their aunt, Socorro Nio, who made the long trip. I feel like we're good citizens and us not being able to get that, it was really frustrating at first, said Gabriel DePalma. Gabriel says his mother, Alicia, is a legal U.S. resident. He and his siblings are U.S. citizens, including his brother, a police officer in the city of Brookhaven. He says tests showed Alicia's sister was a perfect match for a bone marrow transplant. The problem: The U.S. Embassy in Mexico denied her request for a visa. They were afraid that she was going to come to the U.S. and stay here not return to Mexico, Gabriel said. Not the case, he insists, saying his aunt plans to return to Mexico, where she owns homes and where her family is. The family hired an attorney and applied for humanitarian parole. Nio also had stem cells removed and transported to Atlanta as a backup. But the trip was approved and she boarded a flight Friday to see her sister for the first time in 16 years. One obstacle gone, a new challenge ahead. It's going to be yet another thing we have to get ready for, because it's not going to be easy, Gabriel said. The family says Alicia will now start a more aggressive round of chemotherapy and radiation before they do the transplant. Her sister will be here for six months in case they need to repeat the process.

New Stem Cell Skin Care

Posted: October 27, 2014 at 3:56 pm

Do you suffer from premature aging, fine lines, wrinkles, crow feet or skin allergies? Or are you plagued by acne and have tried all kinds of facial creams to no avail.

The No. 1 principle in keeping your skin healthy and young is to do no harm to your skin. Smoking and over exposure to the sun are 2 major culprits in causing premature aging. Do you know that your skin is the largest organ in your body and therefore very susceptible to absorbing toxins into our body which ultimately affects how we look? If you dont observe this principle, the best anti aging serum in the world will not produce the optimal result you desire.

There is a bewildering array of skin care products to choose from: Organic skin care products, herbal skin care products, bio skin care products to sheep stem cell skincare, etc. There is an equally bewildering array of skin care brands to choose from: Elizabeth Arden, SK-II, Kiehls, Origins, Philosophy, etc. Which one is suitable for you? Or does it really work? Or what worked for you 5 years ago, may not work for you today. What worked for you as a teenager may not work for you as a middle aged adult. What worked for you when you lived in a tropical country like Singapore or Malaysia may not work for you when you relocate to a city like Beijing or Chicago with its harsh winter climate.

The best skin care product is the one that works for you in all climates whether you live in Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, China, Australia or the US. It should also work for you regardless of your age or your race.If you are looking for an anti aging serum to rejuvenate your skin, or a facial cream to repair your damaged skin, you should consider the Jeunesse Luminesce skin care products manufactured by Jeunesse Global.

Jeunesse is a French word for youth. Jeunesse Luminesce skin care range of products is entirely based on stem cell technology. Stem cell technology is the latest in cutting edge technology in health science. The scientist behind the Jeunesse Luminesce skincare range is Dr. Nathan Newman, a world-renowned cosmetic surgeon who also pioneered Stem Cell Lift cutting edge cosmetic surgery, without cutting. Dr. Nathan Newman is able to tap his pioneering work experience in the Stem Cell Lift procedure and produce a unique stem cell technology based skincare which enables thousands and thousands of women and men(yes, men) to experience skin rejuvenation without resorting to expensive botox injections. Anti-aging has never been less expensive. The philosophy behind Jeunesse Luminesce skin care products is simple: it must work, it must be safe and it must be based on proven cutting edge health science(stem cell technology).

The potential of stem cell technology is immense. It holds the promise that one day it will change the world, but today, it will change your skins.

Unfortunately a lot of the skin care products out in the market are based on voodoo science. Some products work quite fast but are extremely toxic to the body causing long term damage to your vital organs. If you are using any skin care products which contain harmful chemicals, please stop immediately. It is recommended that you go on a detoxification program to remove the toxins from your body. Start using Jeunesse Luminesce Cellular Rejuvenation Serum and see the difference yourself.

When you update your Facebook photo, dont be surprised if your friends ask you if you had a facelift.

Stem Cell Therapy in Mexico | Mexico Health

Posted: September 29, 2014 at 11:55 pm

The video shows a leading stem cells therapy expert explaining the difference between adult and autologous stem cell transplant. He also discusses his reasons for preferring autologous over adult stem cells transplant. In another video, this stem cell specialist from Mexico shares his expertise.

Narration It is the amount of cellsif you go on and buy stem cells in a little bottle you will get may be 5 million, 20 million. You wanna give more of those you will have a reaction, the white cells reaction, and its a terrible reaction, you can die from that reaction and the blood reaction, the white cell reaction, I can rememberbut its more of an epileptic shock, you just cant go to certain number that your body cant admit from another human being even though if theyre matching.

But the autologous, after you harvest those, you differentiate thoseyou can go to any amount that you can produce in your own body. Thats the big difference. Maybe Im just telling you this, Im giving back to the patient more than 500 million, and maybe its a 1000. And the amount is what makes a big difference because theyre able to repair, because theyre ready to repair, they have already the information of the brand new cell on the mitochondria or onthey will go on and repair the organ that is damaged.

another factor, like, how were going to produce information in that organ that were trying to repair. We have little tricks; if he was mentioned in, Im sorry, prostaglandins for eye inflammation and then stem cells can go on to repair that. We use osmotic diuretic called Mannitol, we give it to the patient half an hour before we do the infusion of the stem cells that opens the brain blood barrier and that irritates the little bit the brain and stem cells can penetrate and we find the tissue that is inflamed and they will help to repair. We have different protocol of treatment, different systems that can help us to produce a little information phenomenon that can help our stem cells to go and repair because stem cells go and repair any tissue that has an information processing.

But as farthe amount of cells were giving back to our patients to the ones that you can buy and besides that well never know what is it that they supply to us, because they could be frozen too much, they dont have the proper way to send it back to us even though they have parameds or whatever, you know. We dont know what were buying, we dont know what were giving to the patients, we dont know if they were manufactured. I like to use your own body, this is my rotocol treatment.
