Receptor tyrosine kinase-like orphan receptor 1 (ROR1) is a type I transmembrane protein that is physiologically expressed in early embryogenesis and plays a critical role in organogenesis. Expression of ROR1 attenuates rapidly after embryonic development, becoming virtually undetectable on post-partem tissues, with the exception of a few B cell precursors.
