On June 16, the McEwen Centre invited the public to join Stem Cell City at a special launch event also attended by Premier Dalton McGuinty, Rob and Cheryl McEwen, Lisa Ray, patient advocate, model, actor and stem cell recipient, stem cell scientists and senior leadership from McEwen Centre and UHN. The launch was held in conjunction with the International Society for Stem Cell Research's 9th Annual General Meeting, which was co-hosted by the McEwen Centre and drew 4000 of the top stem cell researchers from around the world to Toronto.
