Stem Cell Transplantation Progess for Follicular Lymphoma

In this segment, conference chair Dr. Stephanie Gregory (Elodia Kehm Chair of Hematology, Rush University Medical Center, Rush University Cancer Center) leads the discussion on progress in stem cell transplants, which are curative for some patients. The panel features Dr. Christopher R. Flowers (Emory University #39;s Winship Cancer Institute) along with Rush #39;s transplant experts and researchers, Henry Fung, MD, FRCPE, Coleman Foundation Professor of Blood and Marrow Transplantation, Director, Bone Marrow Transplant and Cell Therapy and Sunita Nathan, MD, Assistant Professor of Medicine, Section of Bone Marrow Transplant and Cell Therapy, Rush University Medical Center. They explore the benefits of transplant and the advances in autologous (patient #39;s own cells) and allogeneic (donor) transplantation.
